How do I order?

Minimum Numbers

We require a minimum of 15 guests at your event.

Notification/Cancellation

A minimum of 3 days notice is required for notification and cancellation. However we will try to help out where ever possible, fee’s do apply.

Cancellation Fees

To cancel your order please phone 9881 6086. In the event that a confirmed order is cancelled or changed, the following cancellation charges will apply –

  • Notice of three or more working days prior: No charges will apply.
  • Notice of one working day before 3PM: A fee may be charged to compensate for any food or labour costs already incurred.
  • Notice of one working day after 3PM or same day: The Polished Plate reserves the right to full payment of total order cost.

Where possible, The Polished Plate will use discretion to minimize cancellation charges and will evaluate on a case-to-case basis according to food and labour costs already incurred.

Payment Terms

A 50% deposit Payment is required  10 days prior to the event, balance is then required within 7 days, by Direct Deposit into our bank account or by cash. Cash payments are welcome however we do not carry change.

Delivery

Deliver within the Narrogin CBD is free. We are happy to deliver to the Narrogin Region for a small fee, please feel free to contact us for a quote. Food is delivered ready to serve, generally its a matter of unwrapping and and enjoying.

Napkins, Cups, Plates, and Cutlery

We provide complimentary disposable napkins on request, and are also able to offer crockery, cutlery and glassware hire (to view our range please click on the hire section) please mention this when you are placing your order.  All other disposable items can be arranged for an additional fee at the time of ordering.

Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten Free and other special requirements

Special dietry requirements are not a problem, we have a few menu items which cater to or can be altered for special dietary requirements using  the following key: (v) = vegetarian, (gf) = gluten free.  However please let us know at the time of your order and we can discuss menu options further. Intolerances and allergies will be accommodated for as best possible, however please be aware that  other orders that may contain egg, shellfish, nuts, etc, are prepared using the same equipment.  Please be advised that whilst all care will be taken, no responsibility will be assumed.

Serving Platters, bowls and equipment

The Polished Plate provides these as complimentry service, we will come and collect them generally within the week of the event. In the event of breakages they will be invoiced to you at replacement cost.

Waitstaff

We have a lovely team of waitstaff, the general rule of thumb is 1 waitstaff per 20 people for a sitdown meal and 1 waitstaff per 30 people for cocktail service.
